It's funny sometimes -the whole thought process that goes on before deciding what to post. Today I was thinking that I have a lot of business to take care of and that in turn got me to thinking about home offices. I have a home office- mine is in our bedroom, and that comes with a lot of pros and cons (mostly cons) but when the fourth child came, my office dedicated space went! One of these days I will do a big reveal. I've been working on some organizational projects/ tutorials and when I finish...I will share.
In the meantime, check out some of these spaces created for taking care of business while I take care of some business of my own.

A million thanks to the followers of Ispirato Design.
I've reached 100 Followers!
I'm so encouraged and really looking forward to sharing more design inspiration, projects, tutorials and give aways! Since 100 Followers marks the end of the give away....
I'm ending the pet portrait give away tonight at 9:00
I'm very excited to find out who the winner is. I shared on my Home and Pet Portraits Facebook page yesterday that I feel like I have a blind date- whose eyes will I be staring into for about four hours as I draw their portrait. I fall in love with every pet before I'm finished :)

I received two awards!
I would like to thank Janet of
for giving me:
The Liebster Award is given to blogs with less than 300 Google followers. It is designed to help give smaller blogs in the blogosphere much deserved recognition and expose them to a larger audience. If you receive one, you in turn give the award to two or three favorite blogs of yours- which I will do at the end of this post. Janet's blog is full of sweet inspiration- straight from Texas! She has three adorable fur babies and I know she is hoping to win the pet portrait- Good luck and thanks for the award!

Also, thank you to Iesha of The Uncluttered Lifestyle for giving me this award:
If you receive this award you list seven random things about yourself that people might find interesting and then give the award to ten to fifteen blogs that you've recently discovered. That will be easy since I've just discovered so many awesome ones! As far as the seven interesting things, I will link you HERE (to when I won the Stylish Blogger Award and also had to list seven random things). Visit Iesha for lots of organizational inspiration!
Thanks Iesha :)
Now for some more Home Office Inspiration!

I will pick fifteen blogs to pass the Versatile Blogger Award to and post them tomorrow along with the winner of the Pet Portrait Give Away!
What do you think about having a work space in the bedroom?
Wonderful home offices. My favorite is the one with the dark chocolate brown walls by Kelly Porter and the white office by Elements of Style!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the awards! You deserved it.

Our office is in our bedroom too! It's not ideal but I try to keep it as inconspicuous as possible! I think that's why I can't get enough of office inspiration! The Kelly Porter pic is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteYou so deserve BOTH awards, so congrats!! Always a treat coming here. Love all the wonderful home offices, can't wait to have my own, made a small one in the new house..and just cant wait to create my own cozy little space. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you on both awards...well deserved!! What a great collection of offices...adore the first one. The picture gallery is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Michelle! You are so deserving.
ReplyDeleteI'm very honored you thought of me as one of the three to pass it on to!
Thank you, you totally made my day :)
Nice inspiration pics. You can definitely take a cue from these for adding work space to your bedroom. Adding non-work related objects like family photos or a vase of flowers can make the space less "officey" and more in keeping with the relaxed quality that you probably want in your bedroom.
