Today's Monday Mix: Hats and Decor
Of all of the Monday Mixes that I've done, Hats and Decor was the easiest to find images for. Designers and design enthusiast alike are using hats displayed on walls, piled on tables, singularly as focal points and even as light fixtures to compliment the decor of their interiors.

This space is my favorite. I just love the smokey charcoal color on the walls, the organic shaped bowls and the neutral tones of the hat pile. Such a pretty vignette!

This is obviously staged but I do like the idea of converting a top hat into a pendant light. It could be pretty fun in the right place ...like the Mr.'s closet!

You have to store them somewhere- why not make them part of the decorating scheme!
If you have a photo of "a fashion and decor mix" that you would like to have featured, just email it to me. I would love to include it- I've had some great ones in the past. michellesamoraj@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteHave to go with the first photo! I love it
ReplyDeleteOh I think this is my favourite in this series so far. Love the hats.
ReplyDeleteThis was so great!! The beach house I am staying in has a small wall filled with all kinds of hats, and its so beautiful and whimsical, way better than just hanging a piece of art. Love hats...and the pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute post. I don't have many hats at all, and none in my decor. We are wall space challenged around here!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge, huge fan of hats in decor and have posted that picture of the vertically placed hats over and over again because I can't get enough of it. But do I have that display in my own house? No. I've been keeping my eye out for used straw hats for exactly this reason. Gorgeous post -- some of these, I've never seen before.

ReplyDeleteYou've got me thinking of ways to use my husband's cowboy hat (that he never wears and is stuffed somewhere in a closet...)
